Lobuje Peak
Lobuje: The Lobuje lies in the Khumbu Himal Range of the Everest Region. It’s another multi-summit mountain: the eastern peak is 6,119 m high and the western peak is slightly higher at 6,145 meters. The eastern peak of the Lobuje being at a lower altitude is also known as the trekkers’ peak, the higher one being the expedition peak. Most trekkers return from a snow summit at a lower altitude south east of the true summit, which is also known as the False Peak. Rocky eastern face in a triangular shape and the spectacular views of the Khumbu Glacier gives Lobuje its own uniqueness in the region.

The Lobuje can be attempted as an extended trek from Gokyo. Most teams trek form Gokyo to Dzongla, and from Dzongla ascend the Lobuje Base Camp.
